Prasanna is a distinguished theatre director and a social activist. He is a guest faculty at National School of Drama (NSD) and has served as director of Rangayana, Mysuru. He is the founder of Samudaya, Kavi-Kavya Trust, Charaka Women's Multipurpose Industrial Co-operative Society, Ontidani Prakashana, Desi Trust, Grama Seva Sangha and Ragi Kana. He served as Managing Trustee till March 2013. He advises the Trust in almost all matters of decision making.

Sharada comes from a software background, but her passion in environmentalism and equity drove her towards ecologically sustainable rural livelihoods especially in the Handmade sector. She is an advisor for Charaka Women' s Co-operative, a social enterprise, and a Trustee of Ragi Kana, a market initiative for rural producers. She writes on topics in the field of ecology, conscious consumerism and slow travel.
J Krishna has served as the Managing Trustee of Desi Trust till 2024. He has vast experience in the handloom sector, serving in various capacities in the production, finance and marketing divisions of Charaka. His passion for rural livelihoods and striving for quality has helped him in his current role as the Production Head of the readymade division at Charaka.
M V Chandrashekar comes from "Design Discipline", involved in various forms of design, specializing in textile design & fashion. He works as a design consultant for brands in hand-crafted textile / clothing, besides having his own studio and his line of artisanal work. A trustee of Desi Trust since its inception, he has been a mentor and a guide in design and process to Charaka Womens' Co-operative.
M.S. Keshava is a distinguished Chartered Accountant with over 30 years of expertise in direct and indirect taxation advisory, transaction advisory, process planning, and regulatory compliance. As the co-founder of In.Corp Advisory Services Pvt. Ltd. and a Senior Partner at Vinay & Keshava LLP, he has led nationwide transactions across diverse industries for major corporate houses. He advises the Trust on Financial matters.
Chockalingam has four decades of experience running businesses ranging from manufacturing to distribution of industrial consumables. He has now taken a back seat from active business and spending time on his favourites like mentoring youngsters and promoting environmental activism.
